CT (Computed Tomography) : ECLOS

Eclos Image

Hitachi's CT series ECLOS is designed with the concept of a well-balanced CT which can serve the needs of every user. Its high degree of flexibility enables you to have it configured or upgraded from 4 to 8 to 16 slices. The adaptable design allows you to choose the X-Ray tube size according to your requirements.

This cross-sectional imaging device is easy to operate, patient friendly and has low-dose imaging, using advanced filter technology. The automatic positioning system guarantees a smooth workflow.

Features

  • Fat Pointer – Body fat measurement quantifying the amount of unhealthy visceral fat in the body. Reduction of visceral fat helps in preventing chronic illness like diabetics, high blood pressure and brain infection.
  • Risk Pointer – Pulmonary emphysema measurement using colour mapping and automatic display of low attenuation area in percentile. Results indicate the efficiency of the lungs and risk of deterioration.
  • Demo Light for breathing techniques to reduce patient anxiety
  • Wide table for maximum patient comfort
  • Cruising Eye View (CEV) for virtual colonoscopy
  • CT intervention using Guide Shot Fluoroscopy techniques
  • Hyper Q Net Image viewing for remote viewing and analysis
  • Predict Scan for contrast triggering
  • Brain perfusion and Analysis

Hitachi – Experiencing a world of values using technology

  • Adaptive mA to minimise radiation to the patient by optimising kV and mA values thereby controlling the X-Ray dose to the patient
  • Quick results for perfusion analysis using fast algorithms
  • Volume rendering for 3D Imaging, 3D Analysis, Bone removal with measurements
  • Protocol driven system with a multitasking environment and real time processing for high patient throughput

Specifications

  • Scalable from 4 to 8 to 16 slices
  • High power X-Ray tube 5.0 MHU
  • High power X-Ray generator of 48kW (Maximum)
  • Minimum scan time 0.8 secs
  • Maximum Field of View of 50 cms
  • Image reconstruction of 20 Images/second (Maximum)

Clinical Images

Clinical Image

Three Dimensional ReySum Reconstruction method of high resolution chest image with slice thickness 5mm reconstructed in every 0.625mm and with pitch 0.9 shows solid tumour in left lung.

Eclos Clinical Image 2

Maximum Intensity Projection reconstruction of post-contrast abdominal vessels using Adaptive mA and PredictScan angiography options. Visualisation of renal arteries and hyper-intensive multiple calcifications in aorta.

Eclos Clinical Image

Coloured Volume Rendering reconstruction of post-contrast vessels with Adaptive mA and PredictScan options. Detailed visualisation of arteries from dissected aorta arch till lower limb.

Eclos Clinical Image

The same patient as in above image – but with Maximum Intensity Projection reconstruction in grey scale. Multiple calcifications in aorta and both arteries are visible.

Eclos Clinical Image

Coloured Volume Rendering reconstruction of post-contrast brain vessels showing aneurysm of the common brain artery. Slice thickness 2.5mm reconstructed every 0.63mm, pitch 1.3.

Eclos Clinical Image

Coloured 3D Volume Rendering reconstruction with Cutplane option allows visualisation of stomach suspected for cancer. Adaptive mA option used to minimise radiation dose.
